Walk into E1, P1 or F1
knowing every trap.
A CIMA practice tool built on trap pattern recognition — train your instincts to see through distractors before exam day.
// Why this exists
I built CharterPrep for myself first.
Studying for E1, P1 and F1 I couldn’t find a tool that told me which sections actually needed work or which trap patterns kept catching me out. Textbook questions felt the same; mock results were a single number with nothing actionable behind it.
So I built one for myself and a few classmates. We passed all three modules and the diagnostic became the thing we kept coming back to. CharterPrep is that same tool — same questions, same trap library, same readiness logic — opened up for any CIMA Operational Level student.

Trap patterns to drill
The same handful recur across past papers
The difference between passing and resitting often isn't how much you studied. It's whether you recognised the trap or walked into it. For £19 you face every trap pattern before exam day — in a low-stakes setting, with the wrong-answer rationale shown.
// What you see after every question
Not “you got it wrong.”
Exactly why the trap works.
On trap questions, you see which pattern was used, why the wrong option was designed to look right — and the exact reasoning to spot it next time.
An accountant discovers that her brother's company is being considered for a major supply contract. She has not been asked to evaluate the contract but is aware her expertise may be sought later. Which fundamental ethical principle is MOST at risk?
Why this trips students: Students jump to Confidentiality because family is involved, assuming she might leak info.
Correct reasoning: The primary risk is bias (Objectivity) if her expertise is sought, as her brother's involvement creates a conflict of interest.

CharterPrep is an independent study aid. Our trap framework is a proprietary learning methodology — not affiliated with, endorsed by, or based on insider knowledge of CIMA or any official examining body. Questions are written from scratch, aligned to the publicly available CIMA Operational Level Blueprint 2026–2027. Results vary by individual.

Got questions?
Is CharterPrep affiliated with CIMA, Kaplan, or BPP?+
No. CharterPrep is an independent study tool. Questions are written from scratch, aligned to the public CIMA Operational Level Blueprint (2026–2027). We are not endorsed by, affiliated with, or approved by CIMA, Kaplan, BPP, or any official publisher.
What does £19 actually get me?+
60 days of full access to one Operational Level module (E1, P1, or F1): the trap-biased question bank, one Signature Mock under exam conditions, three deep-dive Readiness Reports, and a live Readiness Score that updates as you practise. One-time payment, no subscription, no auto-renew. Buy a second module separately if you need it.
What makes this different from a Kaplan or BPP question bank?+
Standard banks test whether you remember the syllabus. CharterPrep questions are built around 7 trap patterns that recur across CIMA OT past papers — keyword bait, definition swaps, scope tricks, partial truths, timing traps, calculation errors, and distractor confusion. On trap questions you see which pattern is in play and exactly why the wrong option pulls you in. That part you don't get from a textbook.
When should I start? I have 2 weeks before my exam.+
Start today. The diagnostic takes 30 minutes and immediately shows you which sections need work and which trap patterns you're falling for. Two weeks is enough time to work through the full bank and take the Signature Mock before exam day — most users do it in 2 to 4 weeks of consistent practice.
Is the free diagnostic really free?+
Yes — completely. No payment, no account, no catch. You pick a module, answer 20 hard trap-biased questions in a 30-minute window, and get a full breakdown of your accuracy by blueprint section plus the trap patterns you missed.
Are refunds available?+
Under UK and EU consumer law you have a 14-day right of withdrawal on digital purchases. Because we activate access immediately at checkout, you waive that right at the point of purchase (we ask for an explicit checkbox). After that, refunds are issued for technical issues we couldn't fix or duplicate charges. Full details on the Refund Policy page.
Will you cover the Case Study exam?+
Yes — Operational Case Study Prep is in the works as a separate product (three full mock CS sittings under exam conditions plus a per-attempt report on where you'd lose marks). It's not a question bank — different exam, different needs. It'll appear on the pricing page when it's ready.
// Two weeks out. Don't guess.
Know the traps. Pass the exam.
Start with the free 20-question diagnostic. In 30 minutes you'll know exactly which trap patterns are most likely to catch you on exam day.
If you buy after — it's £19. One-time. No subscription. Less than the cost of a resit textbook.
